FAQ

  • What is mead?
    • Mead is a wine that is fermented from honey. In addition to honey, we often use other ingredients such as fruits, milk sugar, and many others!
  • Where can I buy your mead?
    • You can buy our mead on-site Fridays 4-8, Saturdays from 12-6, and Sundays 12-4
    • You may also purchase our meads to have them shipped here
  • How will sales work?
    • Releases will be offered to our membership first. They will have the ability to purchase the majority of our production. Whatever is left, if any, will be made available to the public. After a week of public sales, we will put anything leftover available to be shipped. You can find our current offerings with shipping available here. We will also set aside some kegs of releases to be distributed throughout the region.
  • Where are you located?
    • Our address is 960 Sycolin Rd Suite 115, Leesburg, VA 20175.
  • What kind of products do you offer?
    • We offer full strength meads in the 12-16% ABV range, and cider as well as session meads that are carbonated in the 5-6% ABV range.
  • Will you have a membership program?
    • Yes, we are currently selling memberships here.
  • Can I drink there?
    • Yes. We offer 2.5oz and 5oz pours of all meads, and 5oz pours of ciders and session meads. We recommend choosing a few 2.5oz pours to ‘build your own flight’.
  • Is mead gluten free?
    • The majority of our products are gluten free. Our meads contain what we describe them as. In instances where we say something has garaham cracker, we would expect there to be some type of residential gluten in it. It would be up to each individual to decide if they could tolerate that. We do also make things in collaborations with breweries (at their facilities, or aged in barrels that previously held beer) that might also contain gluten.
  • Is mead vegan?
    • Mead is not Vegan. However, we do offer ciders which are vegan.
  • Do you give samples?
    • Unfortunately we do not provide samples at this time.
  • Is mead sweet?
    • Our meads are meticulously to be well balanced. Why they are sweet, they generally have enough acidity and tannin to help balance the sweetness.
  • Can I bring my own food?
    • Yes. We allow outside food.
