FAQ

  • What is mead?
    • Mead is a wine that is fermented from honey. In addition to honey, we often use other ingredients such as fruits, milk sugar, and many others!
  • Where can I buy your mead?
    • We are currently offering memberships for our Primis Society. We will make an announcement when we have bottles to be released.
  • How will sales work?
    • Releases will be offered to our membership first. They will have the ability to purchase the majority of our production. Whatever is left, if any, will be made available to the public. We will also set aside some kegs of releases to be distributed throughout the region.
  • Where are you located?
    • Our address is 960 Sycolin Rd Suite 115, Leesburg, VA 20175.
  • What kind of products do you offer?
    • We offer full strength meads in the 12-16% ABV range, and cider as well as session/draft meads that are carbonated in the 5-6% ABV range.
  • Will you have a membership program?
    • Yes, we are currently selling memberships here.
  • Are you going to have a tasting room?
    • Our goal is to open a small tasting room next year. It will likely be by reservations only to accommodate social distancing due to COVID-19. Members will have first priority for reservations.
  • Is mead gluten free?
    • Yes, the majority of our products are gluten free. We do make things in collaborations with breweries (at their facilities, or aged in barrels that previously held beer) that might night always be gluten free.
  • Do you give samples?
    • Unfortunately we do not provide samples to the public during regular hours due to demand. We will host members only hours, during which time we plan to provide samples.
